Our licensed massage therapists offer therapeutic relaxing massage (Swedish), deep tissue, neuromuscular (NMT), trigger point therapy, myofascial therapy, and sports massage.  Not sure what you need?  We will integrate the appropriate combination to suit you on each visit. There is no routine massage here!  Pregnancy and infant massage are also available by therapist Kathleen Fanning.

Hot Stone Therapy
A stone massage is a massage that uses smooth, flat, and heated rocks placed at key points on the body. Basalt stones are heated in water to about 120-125 degrees.  Once the stones have been heated, they are placed on the back, hands, and other muscles in need. The massage therapist also holds stones and use them to work the muscles and tight areas as needed.  Stone therapy is available with light pressure (Swedish) or deep pressure (including trigger point work).  Stone therapy is offered as a 90 minute session only.

Cranio-Sacral

A cranio-sacral therapy session involves the therapist placing their hands on the patient, which they say allows them to tune into the wave of the cerebral spinal fluid (CSF). By gentle work with the spine, skull and the entire body, the restrictions of nerve passages are eased.  The movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spinal cord can be optimized, and misaligned bones are restored to their proper position. Cranio-sacral therapy is used to treat mental stress, neck and back pain, migraines, TMJ issues, and for chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a method involving the practice of massaging, squeezing, or pushing on parts of the feet, with the goal of encouraging a beneficial effect on other parts of the body, or to improve general health.  Areas on the foot correspond to areas of the body, and that by manipulating these one can improve health.

With training and experience in Reiki, Polarity, Matrix Energetics, Deeksha and others, Kathleen will be happy to give complete session of energy work or combine it with other bodywork modalities listed above.
